Gregory Cleveland “Greg” Wilson built his life around the people he loved. A devoted father, husband, brother, colleague and friend, Greg’s sudden passing on Sunday, August 9, 2026, has left the Mount Uniacke community mourning a man whose warmth and humor made a lasting impression.
Born in Halifax, Greg was 52 and the beloved son of Carol Brewer and the late Garry Wilson Sr. He was also preceded in death by his older brother, Gary Wilson.
Above everything else, Greg was a proud father to Tyler and Jacob Wilson. His sons were at the center of his life, and family members remember how proudly he spoke about their talents and accomplishments. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Ronda Frigault, along with his mother, sons, siblings, extended family, nephews and many friends.
Greg worked at Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) for 14 years, where he became a valued colleague and formed lasting relationships.
Away from work, some of Greg’s happiest moments came while camping with family and friends at Shenanigans. He also had a lifelong passion for billiards and was respected as an accomplished pool and snooker player. The friendships he developed through the sport were another meaningful part of his life.
Those who knew Greg often remembered his magnetic personality, natural humor and ability to make people feel comfortable. His laughter and genuine kindness could brighten a room.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1–4 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 165 in Mount Uniacke.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Tyler and Jacob’s Trust Fund, supporting their education and future.
Greg’s greatest legacy will be the love he gave his family, especially his boys, and the countless friendships he leaves behind.
