Beau Harrison Obituary (2013 - 2026) - Moncks Corner, SC Death: Moncks Corner Community Mourns Beloved 12-Year-Old Christopher Beau Harrison, affectionately known as Beau, brought joy to the people around him through his love of family, the outdoors and the activities that made him happiest. His life was tragically cut short when the 12-year-old from Moncks Corner, South Carolina, passed away Friday evening at a Charleston hospital. Born December 4, 2013, Beau was the beloved son of Chris M. Harrison and Alison Worth Harrison. He was a seventh-grade student at Berkeley Middle School and a member of Victory Baptist Church. Beau had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing, with duck hunting and squirrel hunting among his favorite activities. He shared many of those experiences with his squirrel dog, Dottie. He was also a member of Hagen Hunting Club, Ducks Unlimited and the Delta Waterfowl Association. Away from hunting and fishing, Beau enjoyed riding his side-by-side and four-wheeler and spending time mudding. Those close to him will remember him as a respectful young man whose presence brought warmth and happiness to others. Beau was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Frances Harrison. He is survived by his parents; his sister, Taylor M. Harrison; grandparents Wanda Taylor Ackerman and her husband, Vern, and Ricky Worth; along with extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Dial-Murray Funeral Home in Moncks Corner, followed by interment at Berkeley Memorial Gardens. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Though Beau’s life was far too brief, the memories he created through his family, friendships, school and favorite outdoor pursuits will remain.
